Available Positions
1. Grievance Mitigation Committee (GMC) Head – 1 Position
Job Purpose
The GMC Head will independently manage unresolved employee grievances while ensuring fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage employee complaints and appeals.
- Coordinate grievance cases with the Group GMC.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout grievance investigations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly grievance reports.
- Review HR policies against labour laws.
- Conduct grievance investigations and branch visits when required.
- Lead GMC orientation and staff training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with Group GMC procedures.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law, Management or related field.
- 10–15 years of managerial experience.
- Retired female professionals are highly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Good knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws.
- High integrity and professionalism.
2. Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – 1 Position
Job Purpose
The Chief Commercial Officer will lead the company’s commercial strategy, business growth, portfolio expansion, and customer acquisition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop commercial strategies.
- Drive business development and market expansion.
- Lead sales and marketing functions.
- Oversee portfolio growth.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends.
- Build relationships with regulators and stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial performance reports.
- Improve customer experience.
- Strengthen commercial risk management.
- Lead and mentor commercial teams.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
- MBA or Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in banking or financial institutions.
- At least 5 years in senior management.
- Experience in strategic planning and portfolio growth.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. Legal Officer – 1 Position
Job Purpose
The Legal Officer will provide legal advisory services, ensure regulatory compliance, manage litigation, and safeguard the company’s legal interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements.
- Handle litigation matters.
- Coordinate debt recovery cases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare legal opinions.
- Liaise with government authorities.
- Support disciplinary processes.
- Conduct legal due diligence.
- Maintain legal records and documentation.
- Deliver legal awareness training.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).
- Practicing Certificate is an added advantage.
- Minimum five years of legal experience.
- Experience in banking, microfinance, law firms or financial institutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of corporate, labour and contract law.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
