About the Position
The selected candidates will provide clinical nursing care in different hospital units, including:
- Outpatient Department (OPD)
- Inpatient Department (IPD)
- Operating Theatre Department (OTD)
The role involves delivering quality nursing care while maintaining patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to established quality and safety standards.
- Prepare patients before consultation, examination, or surgery.
- Assist doctors during patient examinations and surgical procedures.
- Translate communication between patients and doctors when necessary (Kiswahili and English).
- Communicate sensitive medical information and provide patient counselling.
- Perform clinical procedures as assigned.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure smooth patient flow within the clinical area.
- Support hospital operations in accordance with CCBRT policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
- Valid registration and practicing licence from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
- Good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
