The Executive Director of Njombe Municipal Council has officially announced 75 temporary contract employment opportunities for the position of Revenue Collector (Gate Revenue Officer). The contract will run for one (1) year, and qualified Tanzanians are invited to submit applications before the deadline.
This recruitment aims to strengthen revenue collection activities at municipal checkpoints (gates) within Njombe Municipality.

Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a Tanzanian citizen.
- Hold a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Four) or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Six).
- Have passed Mathematics.
- Be aged between 18 and 45 years.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Calculating and verifying loads transported through municipal checkpoints to ensure all required council taxes and government fees have been paid according to regulations.
- Maintaining records of vehicles transporting forest products, commercial goods, and food products passing through municipal gates.
- Reporting to Ward Executive Officers, Village Executive Officers, and the Executive Director of Njombe Municipal Council regarding gate operations and revenue collection activities.
General Requirements

- Copy of Form Four or Form Six examination certificate.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Application letter written in either Swahili or English.
- Names and contacts of two referees who are public servants.
