1. Audiologist II – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct audiometric therapy for patients with hearing disorders.
• Maintain accurate records of audiometric services provided.
• Prepare patient case reports to monitor treatment progress.
• Ensure proper maintenance of audiology equipment and report malfunctions.
• Interview relatives and collect information to support patient treatment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Bachelor Degree in Audiology from a recognized institution.

2. Audiometrist II – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct audiometric analysis and hearing assessments.
• Assist in prescribing hearing aids and audio-related treatments.
• Maintain and service audio aids and equipment.
• Keep and maintain patient statistics and records.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Diploma in Audiometry from a recognized institution.

3. Orthopedic Technologist II – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and treatment information.
• Prepare casts and take measurements as instructed.
• Fabricate orthopedic and prosthetic appliances.
• Fit patients with appliances under supervision and modify defective devices.
• Examine patients before treatment procedures.
• Advise patients on the use and maintenance of artificial limbs and support devices.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and BMH business processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetics from a recognized institution and must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

4. Radiotherapist II – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation doses to patients according to established standards.
• Position patients accurately for radiation treatment.
• Enter treatment data into computer systems and operate radiotherapy equipment.
• Follow radiation protection principles for patients, staff, and the public.
• Maintain treatment records, reports, and radiation dosage files.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Diploma in Radiotherapy or Radiation Therapy Technology from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council.
