1.0 DRIVER II – 3 POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles to approved destinations in compliance with traffic regulations.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs.
- Take vehicles for routine maintenance and repairs to authorized service agents.
- Maintain accurate motor vehicle logbooks.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any defects or mechanical issues.
- Ensure the vehicle is safe and clean at all times.
- Confirm all necessary documents and permits are valid before any journey.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the relevant authorities promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of Form IV or Form VI Certificate.
- Must possess a valid Class “C” or “E” Driving License.
- Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from VETA or a recognized institution.
- At least one (1) year of driving experience without causing accidents.
- Trade Test Grade II / Level II in Motor Vehicle Mechanics is an added advantage.

2.0 ADMISSION OFFICER II (STATISTICS) – 3 POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee admission processes in collaboration with Deans, Directors, and Principals.
- Receive and shortlist applications based on university regulations.
- Supervise student registration at the beginning of each semester or academic year.
- Maintain statistics on applicants by year, programme, and gender.
- Coordinate meetings related to admissions.
- Implement admission bylaws, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain individual student files and records of admission documents.
- Manage records related to transfers, postponements, and dismissals.
- Communicate with applicants and provide information on programmes and admission requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

3.0 EXAMINATION OFFICER II (ICT) – 2 POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper implementation of examination policies and procedures.
- Print and photocopy examination papers and assessments.
- Package and distribute examinations and related materials.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

4.0 EXAMINATION OFFICER II (STATISTICS) – 1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with examination policies and procedures.
- Print and photocopy examination materials.
- Package and manage distribution of examination papers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

5.0 ICT OFFICER II – SOFTWARE SYSTEMS DEVELOPER (3 POSTS)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering user requirements (Customer Requirement Specifications – CRS).
- Conduct system analysis and design.
- Develop and document software systems.
- Perform system testing (verification and validation) and document results.
- Configure systems and support deployment.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in design reviews and documentation preparation.
- Collaborate with support teams to assist end users.
- Maintain and support business applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in any of the following:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
- Cyber Security
- Information Systems
- Database Administration
- Network Administration
- Computer Programming
- Or related field from a recognized institution

6.0 OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY II – 4 POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle confidential office matters.
- Coordinate office operations and requirements.
- Receive and distribute official correspondence.
- Attend to visitors and direct them appropriately.
- Handle telephone calls and messages.
- Arrange travel logistics for senior officers and staff.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of documents.
- Type confidential documents including letters, reports, and certificates.
- Maintain office equipment and facilities.
- Ensure punctual opening of the office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
- Must have passed:
- Shorthand (English) and Hati Mkato (Kiswahili) at 100 words per minute.
- Must be proficient in:
- MS Word, Excel, Email, Internet, Publisher
- Minimum of 7 years working experience.
- Must pass the Management Development Examination for Executive Assistants – Stage I.
