Mbulu Town Council Job Vacancies 2026 have officially been announced following approval from the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance. The council is inviting qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for seven (7) government job vacancies in the positions of Driver Grade II and Office Management Secretary Grade II.

Available Positions
1. Driver Grade II – 2 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Inspecting vehicles before and after every trip to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Transporting government employees on official assignments.
- Performing minor vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining and updating the vehicle logbook for every journey.
- Collecting and delivering official documents.
- Keeping the assigned vehicle clean at all times.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV).
- Valid Class C or Class E Driving License.
- At least one (1) year of accident-free driving experience.
- Basic Driving Course Certificate from VETA or another Government-recognized institution.
- Relevant driving training certificates qualifying the applicant for the required driving license category.

2. Office Management Secretary Grade II – 5 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will:
- Type official and confidential letters, reports, and documents.
- Receive visitors, identify their needs, and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain records of appointments, meetings, visitors, official travel, and schedules.
- Retrieve files and documents required for official duties.
- Receive and distribute files to the relevant departments and officers.
- Maintain proper filing systems and document records.
- Prepare meeting agendas and assist in organizing meetings.
- Prepare office stationery and equipment requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Form IV or Form VI Certificate.
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies or NTA Level 6 Certificate in Secretarial Studies.
- Passes in English and Kiswahili Shorthand at 100 words per minute.
- Computer skills in:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Internet
- Microsoft Publisher
The qualifications must be obtained from a Government-recognized institution.
