Job Summary

The Warehouse & Issuing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations to ensure that all daily activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures. The successful candidate will supervise inventory control, workflow coordination, staff performance, and compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring daily warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Implementing and maintaining work schedules and staff assignments.
• Monitoring inventory levels through accurate record-keeping and routine stock verification.
• Preparing work schedules and coordinating workflow to maximize operational efficiency.
• Issuing both written and verbal work instructions to warehouse personnel.
• Assigning duties and standardizing warehouse procedures.
• Reviewing warehouse records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Preparing departmental reports and recommending operational improvements.
• Coordinating warehouse activities with other departments and supervisors.
• Ensuring employees receive the necessary training before undertaking assigned duties.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Reporting unsafe working conditions and communicating workplace hazards.
• Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies, procedures, and company regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• 2–3 years of working experience in the tobacco industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
