Available Positions

1. Driver II (Dereva Daraja II) – 2 Posts

Job Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting the vehicle before and after every trip to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
  • Driving government employees to various official assignments.
  • Performing minor vehicle maintenance and reporting mechanical faults.
  • Recording all official trips in the vehicle logbook.
  • Collecting and delivering official documents.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE/Form IV).
  • Valid Class E or C Driving License.
  • At least one (1) year of accident-free driving experience.
  • Certificates proving eligibility for the relevant driving license category.
  • Basic Driving Course Certificate from VETA or any other Government-recognized institution.

2. Records Management Assistant II – 2 Posts

Job Responsibilities

The successful applicants will:

  • Register incoming correspondence.
  • Register outgoing correspondence.
  • Distribute files to action officers.
  • Receive files from action officers.
  • Receive completed files returned to the registry.
  • File and store records properly in cabinets or designated storage areas.
  • Track file movement within the institution.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Form IV or Form VI Certificate.
  • Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a Government-recognized institution.
  • Computer skills.

General Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
  • Must not be older than 45 years.

  • Attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
  • Public servants should not apply directly and must follow Government Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.

  • Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must have their certificates verified by TCU, NECTA, or NACTVET where applicable.
