The institution is seeking a talented Communications Officer to strengthen its communication, branding, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Job Purpose
The Communications Officer will support the organization’s communication strategy by creating engaging content, managing internal and external communications, coordinating media relations, promoting the BRAC brand, and supporting marketing initiatives that enhance the organization’s visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Preparing press releases, newsletters, articles, and marketing materials.
- Managing the organization’s social media platforms.
- Coordinating public relations and media engagement activities.
- Supporting branding and corporate communication campaigns.
- Organizing events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Producing high-quality communication content.
- Monitoring media coverage and preparing communication reports.
- Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Performing other communication-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Photography or graphic design skills will be an added advantage.
