The Mbeya Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Mbeya UWSA) has announced 36 Volunteer Opportunities for qualified and motivated Tanzanian graduates. The 11-month volunteer programme is designed to equip young professionals with valuable workplace experience while supporting the Authority’s mission of providing reliable water supply and sanitation services in Mbeya City and Mbalizi Township.

About Mbeya UWSA
The Mbeya Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Mbeya UWSA) is a government institution responsible for delivering safe, clean water and sanitation services to residents of Mbeya City and Mbalizi Township. Through this volunteer programme, the Authority aims to develop skilled professionals by providing practical training and workplace exposure.
Available Volunteer Positions
1. Legal Officer – 1 Position
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Registration as an Advocate of the High Court is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities

- Attach a copy of the National ID (NIDA).
- Attach two recent passport-size photographs.
- Provide two guarantors who are Public Servants.
- Attach an introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer.
- Have good conduct with no criminal record.
- Ensure foreign qualifications are verified by TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA where applicable.
