Position Highlights
1. Mine Superintendent (1 Post)
The successful candidate will oversee all underground mining operations while ensuring production targets, safety standards, operational efficiency, and cost objectives are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of underground mining experience
- Underground mine management experience
- Valid Tanzanian driving licence
- Blasting and dangerous goods certificates are an added advantage
2. Mine Captain (2 Posts)
Responsible for supervising underground mining activities and ensuring production and development plans are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Advanced Secondary Education Certificate
- Diploma in Mining Engineering preferred
- At least 8 years’ underground mining experience
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role
3. Shift Supervisor (2 Posts)
The role involves supervising underground crews during assigned shifts while ensuring production targets and safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Advanced Secondary Education
- Underground supervisory experience
- Minimum 5 years in underground mining
- Driving licence required
4. Underground Mine Surveyor (1 Post)
Responsible for underground survey control, mine planning support, data collection, and maintaining accurate mine plans.
Requirements
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mine Surveying Technology
- Experience using Leica survey equipment
- Knowledge of Deswik or other mine design software
- Minimum 3 years of mine surveying experience
5. Graduate Underground Mining Engineer (1 Post)

8. Loader Operator (Bogger) (2 Posts)
Operate underground loaders for ore and waste transportation.

- Ordinary Secondary Education
- Loader/Bogger operator certification
- Minimum 3 years of underground loader experience
- Tele-remote operating skills are an advantage
9. Truck Operator (3 Posts)
Operate underground haulage trucks safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Ordinary Secondary Education
- Valid Tanzanian driving licence
- Underground truck operating certificate
- Minimum 1 year of underground mining experience
10. Service Crew (3 Posts)
Install and maintain underground ventilation, water, power, and mining services.
Requirements
- Ordinary Secondary Education
- Technical or vocational training is an advantage
- Working-at-height competency
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
11. Nipper (2 Posts)
Assist Jumbo Operators and underground crews during mining activities.
Requirements
- Ordinary Secondary Education
- Valid driving licence
