BABE Microfinance Limited (BML) is a licensed microfinance institution operating across several regions in Tanzania. The company is committed to providing financial services to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, playing a key role in improving access to finance for underserved communities.
BML is currently looking for dynamic, committed, and results-driven Tanzanians with a passion for economic empowerment to join their team as Loan Officers.
Position
Loan Officers
Duty Stations
Tarime, Bunda, Musoma, Mwanza, Mbeya, Dodoma, Morogoro, and Dar es Salaam
Key Responsibilities
- Manage loan portfolios, including disbursement and quality control
- Market and educate customers on BML financial products
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Conduct cash flow analysis and credit assessments
- Open, update, and maintain client files
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Knowledge of microfinance operations and practices
- Strong financial analysis skills to assess creditworthiness
- At least 2 years of experience as a Loan Officer in a microfinance institution is an added advantage
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
