NJOMBE REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTRACT JOB VACANCIES
The Medical Officer in Charge of Njombe Regional Referral Hospital wishes to announce to all qualified Tanzanians who are interested in working at Njombe Regional Referral Hospital to apply for the following contract job vacancies.
1. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER GRADE II (NURSE II) – 05 POSTS
a) Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized institution and be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing nursing services
- Collecting important health statistics
- Supervising junior nurses
- Educating patients and the community about health issues
- Providing preventive and reproductive health services
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor relevant to their education, experience, and skills
2. RECORDS ASSISTANT GRADE II – 02 POSTS
a) Qualifications:
Holder of a Diploma in Records Management from a government-recognized institution.
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming and outgoing documents and filing them
- Searching and retrieving records/files required by users
- Classifying, listing, and arranging records according to subject for office use
- Filing records in shelves, registries, or storage rooms
- Recording documents (letters, files, etc.) in files
- Safeguarding records and preventing loss or unauthorized access
3. HEALTH ATTENDANT (INCINERATOR UNIT) – 01 POST
a) Qualifications:
- Must be a Tanzanian aged not above 45 years
- Must have secondary education
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Incinerating all hospital waste
- Maintaining and inspecting the incinerator machine before and after use
- Maintaining the incinerator building
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports on waste disposal
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor according to education, experience, and skills
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS
- Must be not more than 35 years old and in good health
- Applicants must attach a Curriculum Vitae (CV) with correct address, phone numbers, and two referees (government employees) with their contacts
- Two referee letters with their addresses and phone numbers
- Must have relevant academic certificates (Testimonial, provisional results, and form four result slips are NOT accepted)
- Applicants who studied abroad must have their certificates verified by TCU or NECTA
- Attach certified copies of the following:
- Birth certificate
- Form IV certificate
- Form VI certificate
- Professional certificates
- Professional license
- Computer certificate
