1. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT II – 3 Posts
Salary Scale: CPBSS 3
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Reconcile fees and registers.
-
Receive and safely keep bills, invoices and other claims pending payment.
-
Maintain an updated cheque register.
-
Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
-
Reconcile general ledger balances with subsidiary ledger balances.
-
Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a Certificate in Accounting and Finance or equivalent qualification.
2. LABORATORY TECHNICIAN II – 1 Post
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Receive, label and analyze samples.
-
Design and conduct laboratory tests according to standard procedures.
-
Conduct experiments under defined conditions using scientific methods.
-
Organize and safely store chemicals and laboratory materials.
-
Record and maintain accurate data (manual and electronic).
-
Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in ordering supplies.
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain cleanliness.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of an Ordinary Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
3. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN II – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical equipment and control systems.
-
Troubleshoot and test electrical circuits and systems.
-
Maintain and calibrate PLC systems for milling machines and boiler systems.
-
Install and maintain plant electrical panels and lighting systems.
-
Conduct routine safety testing and report faults.
-
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
-
Maintain cleanliness of electrical components.
-
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of an Ordinary Diploma or FTC in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
4. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN II – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance within the manufacturing facility.

Diagnose equipment faults and recommend repairs.
-
Coordinate maintenance safety procedures and schedules.
-
Support quality standards and continuous improvement processes.
-
Improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Prepare documentation for manufacturing processes.

Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of an Ordinary Diploma or FTC in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
5. QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER II – 7 Posts
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Inspect cereals and other produce mills, warehouses and storage facilities.
-
Assess quality of cereals and related products according to standards.
-
Assist in setting quality standards for produce.
-
Monitor and evaluate quality from farms to storage facilities.
-
Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Food Processing or Process Engineering from a recognized institution.
6. ICT OFFICER II (PROGRAMMER) – 1 Post
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Develop and write software algorithms and codes.
-
Test, debug and improve software applications.
-
Source and integrate code from libraries and databases.
-
Develop security systems to protect data and users.
-
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
-
Provide technical support and training to users.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, Information Systems or related field from a recognized institution.
7. MARKETING OFFICER II – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: CPBSS 5
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Collect and analyze marketing data for cereals and other produce.
-
Conduct market research and surveys.
-
Develop marketing and sales plans.
-
Implement approved sales strategies.
-
Promote the cereals and produce industry nationally and internationally.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce (Marketing) or Business Administration (Marketing Management).
8. PROCUREMENT OFFICER II – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Oversee receiving, storage and distribution of stock.
-
Maintain inventory and procurement records.
-
Manage tendering and contract documentation.
-
Maintain procurement archives and contract registers.
-
Ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Supplies or Materials Management and registered with a recognized Professional Procurement Board. Must possess CSP certification.
9. PLANNING OFFICER II – 1 Post
Salary Scale: As per CPB Salary Scale
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities

Collect and analyze planning data.

Assist in plan formulation and evaluation.

Prepare statistical and departmental profiles.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Economics, Statistics or Planning.
10. ACCOUNTANT II – 3 Posts
Salary Scale: CPBSS 5
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Prepare accounting documentation and vouchers.

Maintain cashbooks, cheque registers and petty cash.

Assist in payroll and financial report preparation.
-
Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration (Accountancy/Finance) with CPA (T), ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA.
11. ICT OFFICER II (COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST) – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

Gather and document system requirements.

Develop functional and technical specifications.

Design and test enterprise software applications.

Analyze and resolve software incidents.

Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field.
12. DRIVER II – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: CPBSS 2
Contract: One-year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Drive vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations.
-
Conduct minor vehicle repairs and routine inspections.
-
Maintain vehicle logbooks and ensure valid documentation.
-
Report accidents or mechanical faults promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
Form IV Certificate with valid Driving License Class C or E, Basic Driving Course and at least one year driving experience without causing accidents.
