JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – KISHAPU DISTRICT COUNCIL
The Executive Director of Kishapu District Council announces to all Tanzanians that there are contract employment opportunities (Contracts terms) for the following position under the Health Department:
1.1 Radiology Technologist II (Radiology – X-Ray) – 1 Position
1.1.1 Duties and Responsibilities
i. Prepare patients who are scheduled to undergo examinations in the work area.
ii. Send examination results to the relevant physicians.
iii. Prepare the X-Ray machine equipment before use (Radiologist Quality).
iv. Record all services provided and submit reports as required.
v. Maintain cleanliness in the Radiology unit and its surroundings.
vi. Follow proper procedures for preparing and administering contrast media to patients.
vii. Safely preserve and maintain equipment and work area.
viii. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor in accordance with education, skills, and experience.
1.1.2 Qualifications
Must hold a Diploma in Radiology Technology (X-Ray) from a government-recognized institution and must be registered with the relevant professional board.

vii. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
viii. Applicants currently employed in the Public Service must apply through their employers.
ix. Submission of forged certificates and false information will result in legal action.
