M/S Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd (MATCC) is a locally registered private company headquartered in Arusha. The company specializes in agricultural inputs, including multiplication and distribution of agro-seeds, importation and distribution of agrochemicals, and provision of technical advisory services on farm input use and management. MATCC also conducts agricultural research in collaboration with national, regional, and international research institutions.
As part of its business expansion strategy, the company invites applications from qualified, competent, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following vacant positions:
1. Internal Audit Officer (1 Post) – Arusha (Head Office)
Reporting to: Internal Auditor
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Perform and oversee the full audit cycle, including financial reliability, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes.

Review and reconcile financial documents, reports, records, inventories, assets, and accounts to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Identify and report risk management issues, providing practical recommendations for improvement.

Prepare and present detailed audit reports, including strategies for profit enhancement and cost-saving initiatives.

Evaluate financial practices and recommend improvements aligned with best industry standards.
-
Provide advisory support to management and staff on audit findings and corrective actions.
-
Offer guidance to business units on compliance requirements and risk assessment.

Conduct follow-up audits to ensure implementation of recommended corrective measures.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).

Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.

Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel frequently within the country.
2. Sales Officers (3 Posts) – Bariadi, Songea, Mbeya
Reporting to: Zonal Managers
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Conduct regular sales visits and achieve sales targets in line with company plans.
-
Secure sales deals and build strong, lasting relationships with customers.
-
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
-
At least two (2) years of work experience as a sales person cum driver in a reputable organization.

Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Extension, or Agribusiness (added advantage).
-
Valid driving license class “E” and ability to drive light trucks (mandatory).
