Position Overview
Simba Sports Club invites qualified and competent candidates to apply for the position of Director of Membership. The position supports the Club’s strategic objective of strengthening member recruitment, growth, retention, and engagement, in accordance with Article 32 of the Club’s Constitution (2018).
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for membership growth and retention.

Enhance member engagement and communication initiatives.

Conduct data analysis to support membership strategy and decision-making.

Oversee membership administration and database management.
-
Monitor and evaluate membership performance and trends.
Physical Demands
-
This role is largely sedentary but may require physical activity while performing assigned duties.
Travel

Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Education Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
-
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in database management systems; IT knowledge is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Additional Qualifications
-
Knowledge of data analysis tools.

Knowledge of football at both local and international levels.

Familiarity with Simba Sports Club culture is an added advantage.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Position Overview
Simba Sports Club is seeking a highly qualified Technical Director (TD) to oversee the Club’s long-term football strategy. The role bridges Club ownership, management, and technical operations by overseeing recruitment, youth development (academy), coaching philosophy, and performance departments, including sports science and medical units. The Technical Director ensures consistency in playing philosophy, talent identification, transfer management, and overall sporting direction.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Club’s football philosophy and technical strategy.

Oversee player recruitment and transfer activities.

Supervise coaching structures and performance development.

Provide strategic leadership across all football operations.
Physical Demands

The role is largely sedentary but may require physical activity during official duties.
Travel

Travel is required.
Minimum Education and Professional Qualifications
-
CAF A or UEFA A Coaching License (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sports Science, Sports Management, or a related field.

Knowledge of football management software is an added advantage.
Experience
-
Five (5) to seven (7) years of technical experience in sports management.

Proven experience in football management at a professional level.
Additional Qualifications

Strong knowledge of data analysis tools.

Extensive understanding of football at both local and international levels.
