RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE NATIONAL SERVICE BUILDING FORCE (JKT) FOR THE YEAR 2026

The Chief of the National Service Building Force, Major General Rajabu Mabele, wishes to inform young men and women of Tanzania, from both Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, about the recruitment and training opportunities in the National Service Building Force (JKT) for the year 2026.

The procedure for young people to apply for and be selected for this recruitment and training will be coordinated by the Offices of Regional and District Commissioners where the applicant resides. However, priority will be given to youths who hold the following qualifications:

Diploma in Information Technology
Diploma in Business Information Systems
Diploma in Computer Science
Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology
Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Information Security Engineering

Young people with these qualifications are encouraged to apply through their respective Regional Offices.

The selection of youths for recruitment and training in the National Service Building Force will take place on 26 January 2026 in all regions of Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. Selected youths will be required to report to JKT camps starting from 27 February 2026 to 04 March 2026.

Furthermore, the National Service Building Force wishes to inform the youths who will be selected that this opportunity does not guarantee employment. However, it provides an opportunity to seek employment in the Defence and Security Forces, Government Institutions, and Non-Governmental Organizations, as well as enabling the youths to become self-employed after completing training at JKT.
