2. Considering the importance of having the correct number of instructional days per year in accordance with the curriculum requirements, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has prepared the School Terms and Academic Calendar for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Schools (Form I–IV) for the 2026 academic year.

3. It is important to ensure that the implementation of this Calendar is carried out as planned so that it helps to eliminate unproductive periods in teaching and learning, and ensures that the set number of instructional days is achieved. This will help strengthen the quality of education by enabling pupils/students to cover the syllabus within the required time as well as enabling teachers to carry out their duties effectively.

4. The School Terms and Academic Calendar for Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary Schools for the 2026 academic year is as follows:
