Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of museum collections.
- Taking care of special collections and historical artifacts.
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of fieldwork trips.
- Supporting curators in identifying, registering, and documenting exhibition collections.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing museum collections.
- Participating in the installation and setup of exhibitions.
- Preparing and distributing exhibition catalogues, displays, and related materials.
- Preparing exhibition plans and reports.
- Designing and developing models for temporary exhibitions.
- Maintaining workshop facilities and equipment.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- A Diploma in History; or
- A Diploma in Education majoring in History;
- Qualification must be obtained from a recognized institution.
