Job Vacancies at Kilolo District Council January 2026

The Executive Director of Kilolo District Council invites qualified and motivated Tanzanians to apply for eight (08) job vacancies within Kilolo District Council, following approval from the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, as detailed below:

1.0 DRIVER GRADE II – 8 POSITIONS

1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and safety;
ii. Carry out minor vehicle maintenance;
iii. Transport staff to various locations on official duties;
iv. Record and maintain all travel information in the vehicle logbook;
v. Collect and distribute various documents;
vi. Maintain vehicle cleanliness; and
vii. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

1.1.1 QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT

Applicants must possess a Form IV Certificate and a Class E or C Driving License, with at least one (1) year of driving experience without causing an accident. Applicants must also possess driving training certificates that qualify them for the respective license classes. In addition, applicants must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or any other Government-recognized institution.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS

i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged 18 to 45 years;

iii. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a valid address, reachable phone numbers, an email address, and names of three (3) reliable referees;
iv. Applicants who are already Public Servants and have obtained qualifications for entry into a different cadre must submit their applications through their respective employers, who must duly verify the qualifications;
v. All applications must be accompanied by certified academic and professional certificates verified by an Advocate/Lawyer, including Form IV or Form VI certificates (where applicable) and certificates relevant to the position applied for;
vi. Relevant certificates include:

• Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates;

• Form IV and Form VI Examination Certificates;

• Computer Certificate;

• Professional Certificates from respective Boards;
  vii. Applicants for the Driver Grade II position with Class E or C Driving Licenses must attach certified driving training certificates that qualified them for the respective license classes;
  viii. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form IV and Form VI Results Slips WILL NOT be accepted;
  ix. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE);
  x. Applicants who were dismissed from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary;
  xi. Applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply, but must adhere to the guidelines provided in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010;
  xii. Submission of forged information or qualifications will result in legal action;
  xiii. The deadline for submission of applications is 27th January, 2026.
