Duties and Responsibilities

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Supervise the marking of candidates’ examination scripts.
  • Compile lists of examiners for various national examinations.
  • Supervise the setting of examination questions and marking schemes.
  • Supervise moderation of examination questions and marking schemes.
  • Typeset and proofread examination papers and marking schemes.
  • Conduct post-examination analysis of subjects administered by NECTA and prepare feedback for schools and stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor Degree in Education, Bachelor of Science with Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, majoring in Food and Beverage Services and Sales; or
  • Bachelor Degree in Food and Beverage Services and Sales plus Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).

2. Examinations Officer II (Home Economics) – 2 Posts

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor Degree in Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution majoring in Fine Arts.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory.
