70 Job Vacancies at National Insurance Corporation (NIC) May 2026 National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is the leading Insurance Company in Tanzania established under Companies Ordinance Act, CAP 212, to transact insurance business of all forms and to re-insure or co-insure.
NIC invites dynamic, proactive, experienced and suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill seventy (70) vacant posts for Direct Sales Agents.
Job Summary
To support the sales of General and Life Insurance products in line with NIC business objectives through proactive selling, while simultaneously delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
i. Identifying potential clients through networking, marketing campaigns and direct outreach;
ii. Participate in sales activations and campaigns to meet specific targets;
iii. Maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure retention, renewals, and cross-selling or up-selling opportunities;
iv. Promoting both Life and General Insurance products;
v. Achieving assigned sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing regular sales reports; and
vi. Working towards individual and team sales targets in line with the company’s strategic objectives and premium goals.
Minimum Qualifications
i. Education Qualifications: At least Form Four certificate, Diploma or Degree;
ii. Knowledge of insurance products;
iii. Must be organized, independent and possess excellent communication skills;
iv. Team player who takes individual accountability for results; and
v. Highly organized, independently motivated worker with impeccable follow-up.
