Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth
• Must be in good physical and mental health
• Must have good conduct and no criminal record
• Must possess:
  • Original birth certificate
  • Academic certificates (secondary or higher education)

Age Limits

• Maximum 25 years for Form IV and Form VI graduates
• Maximum 28 years for applicants with higher education

Additional Requirements

• Applicants must not have previously worked with:
  • Police Force
  • Prisons Service
  • Special Forces or other security organs
• Must have completed National Service (JKT) training and obtained a certificate (where applicable)
