The company is regulated and committed to providing financial services to low- and middle-income earners, women, and youth across the country.

VFP operates seven branches located in Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, and Dodoma, and serves smallholder farmers in over thirteen regions through its digital agriculture platform, Kilimo Pesa. The company also owns a subsidiary, Victoria Insurance Brokers Limited, established in 2017.

To support its continued growth, the company invites applications from qualified, experienced, and results-driven professionals to fill the following positions:


1. Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) – 1 Post

Reporting to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and market expansion
  • Oversee branch performance and sales targets
  • Manage and safeguard the loan portfolio
  • Supervise Branch Managers, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Experience teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in microfinance or financial services
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role

2. Chief Credit Officer (CCO) – 1 Post

Reporting to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership of the credit function
  • Develop and enforce credit policies and underwriting standards
  • Oversee credit appraisal, approvals, portfolio performance, and recoveries
  • Monitor portfolio risk, PAR, NPLs, and regulatory reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA/CFA) is an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in credit management
  • At least 5 years in senior management
  • Experience in microfinance and digital lending

3. Internal Auditor – 1 Post

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement audit plans
  • Evaluate risk management, governance, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations
  • Prepare and present audit reports to management and the Board

Qualifications:

  • CPA/ACCA/CIA certification
  • Minimum 10 years’ auditing experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior role
  • Experience in banking or microfinance is preferred

4. Credit Analyst – 1 Post

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications and assess credit risk
  • Analyze financial statements and repayment capacity
  • Prepare credit appraisal reports
  • Support credit decision-making processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in credit analysis
  • Knowledge of SME and microfinance lending
  • Professional certification is an added advantage

5. Credit Administration Manager – 1 Post

Reporting to: Chief Credit Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee loan documentation, disbursement, and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations
  • Manage credit administration processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in credit operations
  • Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, MBA, or LLB) are an added advantage

6. Branch Manager – 2 Posts

Reporting to: Chief Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive branch growth and portfolio expansion
  • Ensure high-quality lending and loan recovery
  • Manage branch operations and staff
  • Prepare performance and compliance reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in banking/microfinance
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role

7. Systems Development Officer – 1 Post

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain core systems
  • Drive digital and AI-based innovations
  • Support product development and rollout
  • Ensure data security and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in systems development or fintech
  • Experience in digital banking is an advantage

8. Credit Relationship Officer – 2 Posts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Assess creditworthiness and manage loan applications
  • Monitor loan portfolios and manage risks
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking or microfinance
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

9. Assistant Customer Experience Officer – 2 Posts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Provide product and service information
  • Support customer service standards
  • Maintain visitor records and schedules

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

10. Recovery Manager – 1 Post

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage loan recovery and reduce non-performing loans
  • Supervise recovery teams and set targets
  • Implement recovery strategies and legal processes
  • Prepare recovery performance reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in recovery/collections
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role
