1. VACANT POSITIONS

1.1 Assistant Librarian Trainee – 2 Posts

Duty Station: Moshi

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To understudy senior staff members by attending lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical training.

  • To conduct tutorials, seminars and practical sessions.

  • To assist in research, consultancy and outreach activities.

  • To perform any other duties assigned by relevant authorities.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree in:

  • Library and Information Science

  • Information Science

  • Information Studies

  • Records Management

  • Information and Records Management

Minimum GPA: 3.8 out of 5.0 from a recognized university.

Remuneration: PUTS 1.1

1.2 Assistant Lecturer (Human Resource Management) – 1 Post

Duty Station: Moshi

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials, seminars and practical training for undergraduate programmes.

  • Conduct and publish research findings.

  • Identify and support students with learning difficulties.

  • Participate in consultancies and community service under supervision.

  • Attend workshops, conferences and symposia.

  • Perform other duties assigned by relevant authorities.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • Master Degree in Human Resource Management (Minimum GPA 4.0/5.0)

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management (Minimum GPA 3.8/5.0)

1.3 Assistant Lecturer (Data Science) – 2 Posts

Qualification and Experience

Master Degree in any of the following fields:

  • Data Science

  • Machine Learning

  • Big Data Analytics

  • Artificial Intelligence

  • Computer Science

  • Information Systems

  • Computer Engineering

  • Information Technology

Minimum GPA: 4.0/5.0.

Bachelor Degree in related fields such as:

  • Data Science

  • Information Technology

  • Computer Science

  • Master Degree in English Language or Linguistics (GPA 4.0/5.0)

1.9 Assistant Lecturer (Procurement and Supply Management) – 2 Posts

Qualification

Master Degree in:

  • Procurement and Supply Management

  • Logistics and Transport Management

  • Supply Chain Management

Bachelor Degree in related fields (GPA 3.8/5.0).

Registration with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) and possession of CPSP certification will be an added advantage.
