Diploma Loan Application Important Documents 2026 Academic Year 2025/2026
All Diploma loan applicants for the Academic Year 2025/2026 are required to carefully observe and comply with the following instructions:

Application Procedures
Applicants must read and strictly follow all loan application procedures outlined in these Guidelines. -
National Identification Number (NIN)
Applicants who possess a National Identification Number (NIN) are encouraged to provide it during the application process. -
Certification of Supporting Documents
All supporting documents submitted must be duly certified by the relevant authorities as specified in these Guidelines. -
Certification of Birth/Death Certificates
All birth and/or death certificates must be verified and certified by the Registration, Insolvency and Trusteeship Agency (RITA) or the Zanzibar Civil Status Registration Agency (ZCSRA) to confirm their authenticity. -
Applicants Born Abroad / Parents Deceased Abroad

Applicants born outside Tanzania must obtain an official validation letter from RITA or ZCSRA to confirm their birth information.

Applicants whose parent(s) passed away abroad must also obtain an official letter from RITA or ZCSRA to validate the submitted information.

Foreign Entry Qualifications
All foreign academic qualifications must be evaluated and approved by the relevant authority (NECTA or NACTVET). The equivalent index number issued upon evaluation must be declared during the application process. -
Bank Account Details
Applicants must ensure that the submitted bank account is active and registered under the same name as indicated on the loan application form. Bank details must be entered accurately. -
Mobile Phone Number
Applicants must provide a registered and reachable mobile phone number. This number will be used to communicate updates regarding application status and loan disbursement. -
Completion and Signing of Application Form
The online loan application form must be fully completed. Pages Two (2) and Five (5) must be signed as required prior to submission. -
Review Before Submission
Applicants are required to thoroughly review their entire application and make any necessary corrections before final submission. -
Guarantor Requirement
Each applicant must have a guarantor possessing one of the following valid identifications:-
National Identification Number (NIN)

Zanzibar Resident ID

Voter’s Registration Card

Driving License

Application Deadline
All applicants must strictly adhere to the official loan application deadline. Late applications will not be considered. -
Forgery and Misrepresentation
Any form of forgery or submission of false information will result in immediate disqualification from the loan application process for the respective academic year and may lead to further legal action. -
Follow-up of Application Status
Applicants are advised to regularly monitor the status of their application through their SIPA account.
