1.0 FISH TECHNOLOGIST II – 3 Posts
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Provide advice on preparation, processing, drying, and preservation of fish and fishery products;
ii. Inspect and supervise the quality of fishery products and seaweed in accordance with national and international standards;
iii. Supervise and advise on regulations regarding fish and seaweed quality control;
iv. Control quality of fish at landing sites, markets, factories, and warehouses;
v. Ensure cleanliness at fish and seaweed receiving areas;
vi. Inspect processing factories, fish product warehouses, and transportation vessels in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards;
vii. Verify various documents related to the production and transportation of fishery products and seaweed;
viii. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Unit Head.
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Fish Technology; Marine Biology and Applied Microbiology; Fisheries Sciences and Microbiology (University of Dar es Salaam) or Food Technology and Microbiology (Sokoine University of Agriculture), or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government.

1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Provide animal health services;
ii. Conduct livestock disease investigations according to the law;
iii. Prepare and supervise plans to prevent, control, and eradicate animal diseases;
iv. Supervise animal rights and welfare;
v. Participate in wildlife disease investigations;
vi. Coordinate and supervise compliance with disease regulations, livestock inspections, livestock products, and livestock inputs;
vii. Coordinate and supervise abattoir hygiene and meat inspection;
viii. Prepare livestock health reports for the area;
ix. Perform any related duties assigned by the supervisor.
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from SUA or any recognized institution, with registration by the Tanzania Veterinary Council.

2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Conduct X-ray examinations for referred patients;

iii. Check X-ray images for diagnostic quality;
iv. Keep patient images until results are delivered;
v. Supervise junior staff;
vi. Provide advice on radiology and radiation matters;
vii. Prepare and sterilize diagnostic equipment;
viii. Provide basic training to assigned staff;

2.2 QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Radiology Technology from a recognized institution with registration by the Tanzania Radiation Professionals Council.
