POSITION:LABORATORY ASSISTANT II 20 POSITION

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To assist in preparations of Samples/Specimens for laboratory use;
2. To make necessary preparations to facilitate conducts of laboratory tests;
3.  To maintain cleanliness in the Laboratory including cleaning of equipment and glassware
4. To assist in carrying out routine/specialized tests;
5. To assist in carrying out specified tasks connected with laboratory analysis, consultancy and services;
6. To collect and take care of equipment involved in teaching;
7. To assist in collecting and preparing laboratory teaching materials;
8. To assist in preparing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing quality system of laboratory equipment and reagents; and
9. To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
