GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be more than 45 years old. However, for positions within Military Institutions:
   • Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
   • Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
2. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should clearly indicate their disability in the job application system for information purposes to the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
3. All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
4. Public servants currently employed in the Public Service SHOULD NOT APPLY and must adhere to the instructions contained in Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
5. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates relevant to the position, including:

6. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, Form IV and Form VI Result Slips will NOT be accepted.
7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for positions requiring a GPA who studied abroad must also attach a GPA equivalency certificate issued by TCU.
8. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have obtained permission from the Chief Secretary.
9. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will result in legal action being taken against the applicant.
10. The deadline for submitting applications is 26 June 2026.
