The Director General of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill vacant positions available in PCCB District Offices as outlined below:
1.0 INVESTIGATION OFFICERS II (250 POSTS)
1.1 Required Qualifications
1.1.1 Academic Qualifications
Applicants must possess a three-year Advanced Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields:
- Accounting
- Architecture
- Business Administration
- Building Economics / Quantity Surveying
- Chemical Processing Engineering
- Community Development
- Computer Science / Information Technology
- Construction Engineering
- Economics and Planning
- Electrical Engineering
- Food and Nutrition
- Human Resource Management
- Land Management and Valuation
- Law
- Mechanical Engineering
- Oil and Gas Engineering
- Procurement
- Project Management
- Psychology (Counselling and Guidance)
- Public Administration
- Public Relations / Mass Communication
- Records Management
- Sports Science / Physical Education
- Statistics
- Water Engineering
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of Lower Second Class
- Good working knowledge of ICT and computer applications
- Registration with a relevant professional board is an added advantage
1.1.2 Other Qualifications
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen
- Must be at least 18 years old and not older than 29 years by May 2026
2.0 ASSISTANT INVESTIGATORS II (250 POSTS)
2.1 Required Qualifications
2.1.1 Academic Qualifications
Applicants must meet requirements in one of the following areas:
- Security Skills:
Basic Technician Certificate / Technician Certificate / Diploma in Wildlife Management and Law Enforcement (NTA Level 4–6) or Basic People’s Militia Training, with skills in guarding, access control, and incident response - Motor Vehicle Mechanics / Panel Beating / Spray Painting:
NVA/NTA Level 3–4 with practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance - Driving Skills (Class C):
Valid Class C driving license, clean driving record, and experience in safe driving. Basic vehicle repair skills are an added advantage - Customer Service / Office Assistant:
Basic Certificate with strong customer care and office support skills - Assistant Accountant:
Diploma in Accounting with knowledge of public financial systems - Secretarial Studies (Personal Secretary):
Diploma with proficiency in office management, communication, and ICT - Computer Technician:
Diploma or certification in computer maintenance with skills in hardware, networking, and software troubleshooting - Office Machine Technician:
Technical training in installation, maintenance, and repair of office equipment (printers, photocopiers, scanners)
2.1.2 Other Qualifications
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen
- Must be between 18 and 25 years old
3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS
All applicants must:
- Be persons of high integrity
- Have no criminal record
- Submit certified copies of all relevant certificates
- Not have been dismissed from public service
- Channel applications through their employer (for public servants)
- Attach the following documents:
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Form IV and VI certificates
- Standard VII certificate
- Professional certificates (if applicable)
- Birth certificate
- One recent passport-size photo
- Ensure foreign certificates are verified by TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA
- Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Provide three referees with reliable contacts
- Include a valid NIDA card or number
- Avoid submitting testimonials, partial transcripts, or result slips
- Submit a handwritten application letter (Kiswahili or English)
- Ensure applications are complete (incomplete applications will not be considered)
- Note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
