The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) invites applications from qualified Tanzanian citizens to fill 18 academic vacancies in different departments. The details of the available positions are provided below.
1. TUTORIAL ASSISTANT – LINDI CAMPUS
1.1 Tutorial Assistant – Crop Science and Technology (1 Post)
Department: Crop Science and Beekeeping Technology – College of Agriculture and Food Technology (CoAF)
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Assist senior academic staff by attending lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical sessions.
-
Conduct tutorials, seminars and practical sessions.
-
Participate in research, consultancy and community service activities.
-
Undertake postgraduate training leading to a Master’s degree.
-
Perform any other duties assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science in one of the following fields:

Crop Science and Technology

Agronomy
-
Horticulture
-
Crop Production and Management
-
Meteorology
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.8 from a university recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities.
