NECTA Matokeo ya Darasa la Pili 2025

The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has officially announced the results of the 2025 Standard Two National Assessment. While releasing the results, the Executive Secretary of NECTA stated that the overall pass rate was exceptionally high, exceeding 90 percent.

The Executive Secretary further noted that this strong performance is particularly encouraging given that 2025 marks the first time Tanzania has administered a national examination at the Standard Two level. The results demonstrate a positive foundation for early basic education and reflect the effectiveness of teaching and learning at the lower primary school level across the country.
